Accounting and Finance For Management
Every executive can do a better job if he or she understands the language and uses of accounting and finance. This course is designed for managers, executives and other personnel who want to acquire a practical knowledge of these disciplines. Participants will learn how to use the language and modern techniques of accounting and finance in different situations. The course provides the participant with a basic understanding of how funds are raised and allocated within the firm.
Topics covered include:- Understanding Balance Sheets and Income Statements, Break-Even Analysis and Profit Planning, Management of Working Capital and Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Taxation of Income.
Prerequisite: Knowledge of accounting terminology and basic accounting calculations.
